This project for a fashion designer’s studio and loft on Crosby Street in SoHo was a redevelopment of a penthouse space. The project involved a full floor renovation and the new addition of a second story bedroom, bathroom and study. Setting something of a record in NYC, the project received full historical board approval in one week due in large part to the considerations made toward protecting the existing building’s legacy and structure.
